The gaming and animation sectors work with cutting edge technologies across various media. Such operations present complex legal issues. For instance, there are complex but interesting IPR issues and, of course, complex contracting issues.

Law makers and lawyers face new challenges in dealing with such new concepts such as Virtual Properties.. Here is one more area that need to be understood and tracked by businesses in these sectors

Multi-media related IPR and contracting issues have been with us for some time. Developments in the USA and Europe can provide useful pointers to Indian businesses. Besides, these are the important markets for Indian businesses in gaming and animation.
