In honor of Mother's Day, daughters are encouraged to bring their moms (and moms bring your daughters!) for a special mother and daughter event.
Join us on the Paulsdale Porch to hear Catherine Gourley discuss her new book, Gibson Girls and Suffragists the firstvolume in afive book nonfictionseries, Images of Women in the Twentieth Century. Written particularly for girls ages 10 and up, this series explores how popular culture has portrayed womenin the early twentieth century; fromGibson and Christy girls toSuffragists, Flappers, College and Factory girls.

Moms and daughters will also have the opportunity to work together on a special project.
Light refreshments will be served.
