Ghosts of the Wetlands May 28, 2011

This new traveling exhibit at the Aquarium features some wetland wonders like an up-close encounter with Audubon's two juvenile white alligators! Louisiana is home to a quarter of all the wetlands in the United State's lower 48 states. Unfortunately, this valuable resource is vanishing and without significant efforts to halt the loss of wetlands, Louisiana could lose more than a third of what remains by the year 2040.
