*Proceeds benefit "Project Open Hand." For over 20 years, Project Open Hand has provided meals and bags of groceries to men, women and children living with symptomatic HIV and AIDS. Get there early. The lines get long and area gets crowded.

Don't mean to be a party pooper but we were SO disappointed with this "festival" when we went last year.

It just felt *so* commercial - there was no 'celebration' as such, simply a load of stalls where you could redeem your 6 'tastings'. And much of it was v poor value - like the Safeway stall that was selling individual cookies out of a cartoon as one of the tastings (6 for $10 don't forget). Not hand made or anything, just individual cookies out of the package. Pathetic!
