GFE, or the Gruppe Freie Elektronische are Ana Balka on violin and guitar, Jeff Bradley on double bass, Scott Burland on pedal steel, keyboards, and electronics, Rob Cheatham on saxophones and keyboards, Bob Hulihan on electronics, guitar, theremin and T. Milt Jones on percussion. The group have been described as sounding like an orchestra tuning up.
