Our Getting Started with Dreamweaver workshop is a great introduction to what is considered by many as one of the best WYSIWYG HTML editors. Macromedia Dreamweaver is known for functional and clean code while being easy to use. This workshop will familiarize participants with the user interface, explain how to setup and maintain "sites" and demonstrate techniques for creating basic HTML using common layout practices. The workshop will be demonstrating Dreamweaver MX 2004 but most of what will be discussed also applies to older versions of the software.

The workshop will cover:
- Introduction to web concepts/technologies
- Introduction to Dreamweaver interface
- Defining/managing sites
- Discussion on common layout techniques (tables/divs/etc.)
- Creating HTML pages
- Working with tables
- Previewing work in browsers
- Publishing work via FTP
