Get Your Heart Pumping With ‘Day of Dance’ February 23, 2013

Tango, two-step, tap or hip-hop – all are good for heart health and will be the beat of the day at the annual “Day of Dance” for heart health sponsored by Banner Health’s Spirit of Women program. Day of Dance encourages entire family participation and features simple ways to keep your heart healthy, dance demonstrations and instruction, free health screenings, and fun and games for youth. The “Day of Dance” will be held in the Dicks Sporting Goods Court at Arrowhead Towne Center.

Day of Dance occurs all over the U.S. on Feb. 23 – February is American Heart Month – and is part of the national Spirit of Women campaign to promote healthy lifestyle choices through education and activities like dancing, movement and healthy eating. The “Day of Dance” will be held in the Dicks Sporting Goods Court at Arrowhead Towne Center.
