Urban Adventurers Unite!

GET FOUND is a Groundhog Day party this Friday night at Historic Fort York in the heart of downtown Toronto. The fort is rarely open late at night, don't miss this opportunity to explore one of our city's oldest sites after hours. It is, by the way, a full moon on Friday. Oh, and rumour has it the fort may be haunted…

Meet at 9pm for a Photo Scavenger Hunt spread through the old military buildings inside the walls of the fort. The first place prize package includes a night in an artist-designed room at the Gladstone Hotel, a gift certificate for 69Vintage, and dinner for two at a restaurant! Bring a digital camera, you need one to enter (cell phone cameras are fine).

During the Photo Scavenger Hunt (and once it wraps up), party central is the Blue Barracks where we’ll have music all night. Chad Dembski is hosting an iPod spin-off: bring your mp3 player and plug it in with one song lined up. The song that fills the dance floor wins a super cool prize. Power to the people!

Live music also by the Sunparlour Players (http://www.myspace.com/thesunparlour) and Tamara Podemski (http://www.myspace.com/tamarapodemski) who is just back in town after winning a top award at Sundance (check out http://www.cbc.ca/arts/film/story/2007/01/28/sundance-awards.html).
