On behalf of the Organic and Medicinal Chemistry Division of the Hungarian Chemical Society, we cordially invite you to attend the Conference “German-French-Hungarian Congress in Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry” to be held 20-23 June, 2009 in Budapest, Hungary.

Invited Plenary and Short Oral Lectures, and Posters presented by scientists from both the academic and industrial areas will form the high-level scientific program.

The Congress is co-organized by Max Malacria (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris), Jean-Pierre Genet (ENSC Paris) and Lutz F. Tietze (University of Göttingen).

We hope, that the great successes of previous German-French-Congresses in Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry held in Gosslar (2005) and Calvi (2007) will be continued in Budapest, too. Besides the scientific aspects of the Congress, our guests will have every chance to enjoy the hospitality and the beauties of our historic capital.

May we wish everyone a memorable stay in Budapest, with new ideas from your own research and fruitful new personal contacts.

Main topics

The Congress will cover several hot topics of organic and biomolecular chemistry, such as

  • total synthesis of natural products

  • enantioselective transition metal catalysis

  • photochemistry

  • biomolecular chemistry

  • development of materials
