Gerald Wilson, jazz's reigning composer/orchestrator is set to appear at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola with the Julliard Jazz Orchestra. The NEA Jazz Master will conduct music from his new album, 'Legacy.' The Gerald Wilson Orchestra assembled for 'Legacy' incorporates many of the great jazz artists who've been Gerald's collaborators for the lion's share of his Mack Avenue canon. However, Wilson will be joined by the Julliard Jazz Orchestra for his performance dates at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola. Along with this New York based orchestra, the jazz legend will be joined by his son, Anthony Wilson, and grandson, Eric Otis (both guitarists), who will take turns joining the band on guitar.
