Georges Rouault: Miserere July 21, 2012

This exhibition features the entire collection of works commissioned by Ambroise Vollard in 1916. Based off of drawings about war and salvation, and inspired by the opening line of Psalm 51, "Have mercy on me, O Lord," these pieces are a testament to 20th century printmaking and the portfolio is considered Rouault's masterpiece.
