More info about the artists and Dinner Party Records:

George Cochrane (Dinner Party Records, Fabric, Drop, Amenti)

When his alter-ego isn't busy putting out innovative house and downtempo records, San Francisco's George Cochrane finds time to mix those influences with clever lyrics, crafty guitars, and a dash or two of corrosive electro, playing all the instruments himself. His album The White Pinecone on Dinner Party Records brings Milosh, LCD Soundsystem and Tom Vek to mind, but by its originality and scope, refuses to get lost in the recent wash of "Dance Rock" releases.

Party Party Miami (Dinner Party Records)

PPM is the Dance Dance Revolution-ized counterpart to San Francisco's favorite new band French Miami. Trading in their smacking live drums for a big bad 909 drum machine, their disco keys, screaming guitars and catchy vocals take on a whole new layer of dancefloor sweat. Prepare to scream along and don't forget to wear your knee pads.

The Fingermonsters (Monsta Music)

To say The Fingermonsters is a "dance music live PA" would be a bit like calling a Mack truck "a large, wheeled transportation device". At their shows, 4 hyperkinetic blurs, a table full of blinking lights, and a swimming pool of adrenaline produce slabs of pure body-moving glory. Origami, Compulse, Cubik and Andrew Phelan, all talented producers and performers in their own right, combine like dance-Voltron to issue forth twisted, convoluted electro house and breakbeat satisfaction.

Dinner Party Records formed in San Francisco in 2006, as an outlet for an overachieving group of musicians, designers, promoters and amateur chefs. DPR recently celebrated the release of The Collapsible Mammals' debut album with a bash at the Architecture + Design Museum in Los Angeles, where they constructed a pink "walk-thru restaurant" serving treats, pre-release music, and random advice throughout the night. DPR also throws a monthly dance party called Home Wrecker and runs a bi-monthly radio show on pirate stalwart West Add Radio 93.7.
