Got the day off? Join our half-day hike on the towpath along the C&O Canal from Great Falls to Carderock. On this 4-mile stretch along the Potomac River, we'll pass by spectacular views of Mather Gorge as we make our way downstream through floodplain forests and wetlands. We'll keep our eyes and ears open for winter birds and other wildlife, while practicing our winter botany skills.
