Geoff Dyer and Talvin Singh: From Venice to Varanasi November 26, 2009

Venice we visit with acclaimed writer Geoff Dyer who reads from his latest novel, Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi and a screening of Visconti's Death in Venice, a 1971 take on the classic tale of impossible attraction set in a city of sickness and decay.

Onto Varanasi we travel with virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Talvin Singh improvising live on the tabla to a rare screening of the epic ambient documentary Forest of Bliss.
