What: Groundspeak’s Geocaching Block Party is a celebration of the outdoor treasure-hunt using GPS devices. Open to both the general public and experienced geocachers, the event is an introduction to guests who want to learn about the art of geocaching as well as a social gathering for veteran members.

The Geocaching Block Party takes place August 20, 2011 from 11am – 3pm in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle in the Solstice Plaza (701 N 34th St, Latitude 47.64864 Longitude 122.348927) and will feature a geo challenge course, dunk tank, kids’ activities, geocaching meet ups and geocaching courses of varying levels.

When: Saturday, August 20th, 11am-3pm

Cost: Free! The event is open to the public.
