Explore the latest and greatest in free and online GeoApplications in this three-hour workshop. Google Local, Google Earth, Virtual Earth, A 9, World Wind, Flash Earth, USA Photo Maps, and QuakeMap will be introduced. In addition, we will take a quick field trip outside of the convention center with a digital camera and GPS receiver to experience how to integrate this equipment with the software to provide engaging learning opportunities for your "Digital Natives". Warning: This is intended to be a fun workshop while showing off lots of cool applications and may not be appropriate for the conference participant that is looking for a serious lecture.
