ABOUT GENNINE JACKSON-FRANCIS & THE EVENT::

Having performed since the age of eight with her sisters in their R&B group, The Jackson Sisters, she has played major venues such as the Forum, the Hollywood Palladium, the Aumondson Theatre and more.

The Jackson Sisters were guests on Soul Train and other national television shows, which presented opportunities for them to open up for international acts such as Bill Cosby, Eddie Kendricks, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Three Dog Night, The Pointer Sisters, The Whispers, The Manhattans, Sisters Sledge, The Silvers, and most recently, Jennifer Holiday.

During their short career, The Jackson Sisters managed to release two single recordings, “Why Can’t We Be More Than Friends” and “I Believe In Miracles”, which received international acclaim in Europe and Japan.
