The Atomic Art Cooperative, a local non profit arts incubator, will host a massive art exhibition & musical showcase to benefit the green building program, The Environmental House (www.environmentalhouse.org).

This colossus eleven hour benefit encourages the demographics of young and old alike to embrace a truly impressive spread of talented and ambitious local artists and musicians. Our message, the arts are an integral part of advocating sustainable living.

"Genesis" is a themed benefit, suggesting growth, new beginnings, earthly regeneration, nature. A variety of visual media from up-and-coming painters, sculptors, designers, and photographers are represented. In this one-day event, works from both members of Atomic and other artists representing the community will be displayed. A viewing and catered vip reception will be held from 5-8p and live music will run from 8pm-4am. During the viewing selected artworks will be available to be bid on through a silent auction.

Artists inlcude A. Gabriel Winnie, Emi Slade, Nick White, Jason Heinrich, Martin Thoburn, Patrick Landeck, J.B. Davis, Jacob Varty, Joe Young, C.S., Dan Blades, Rebecca Louks, Erin Miller,
Autumn Whisman and more.

The music Line up starts with Favorite Daughter and is followed by b.gone in the apocalypse, Minor Planets, Counter Cosby,
Todd Deatherage, Beta Males, Manhole and Ambit Vs. Das Chritz.

With the generous support from Arbor Brewing Company, Arts Alliance and the Peoples Food Coop, Genesis is going to provide patrons with a wide variety of delights for the senses. Our sponsors and friends will provide libations of all sorts.
