Course Description:

After this course, you will be able to use your handgun safely, quickly, and reflexively as is required in close-range high-speed defensive situations. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced hand gunner, you will benefit from this course. And it’s a must for anyone who carries a handgun for self-defense.

Our lectures cover the legalities of using deadly force, interaction with Law Enforcement, ballistics, and ammunition selection. We will also discuss handgun types and modifications, holster selection, and recommended accessories. If you’ve accepted the duty and responsibility of defending your life and the lives of your family, you deserve to get the best training available in real-world handgun usage.

Curriculum:

• Firing basics (stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger press)
• Speed reloading and tactical reloading
• Stoppage drills
• Firing rapid multiple shots on single targets
• Rapid engagement of multiple targets
• Engaging targets from the ready position, the draw, and the concealed draw

Required Equipment:
Reliable, functional handgun; Belt holster (rigid) with sturdy belt; 600 rounds of jacketed ammunition (minimum); 3 magazines or speed loaders; Hearing and eye protection. Please note: all ammunition must be purchased at “The Place to Shoot”.

Prerequisites:
Concealed weapons permit or documentation of documentation of good character.
