So, Go Karting is this saturday, and we're in luck! They usually have up to 50 people in each race, but because it's Pride weekend and the stag do's can't find hotels, the morning session only has 20 racers! Which means more time racing for us :-) And it means we can still phone up to book.
Unfortunately it's an early start (8.45am) and if you're not already in Brighton then I'd recommend coming down the night before so as to avoid the Pride rush.
IMPORTANT - Please take a minute to let me know NOW if you can or can't make it ([email protected]). I'm going to book it today, unless not many people email me.
If you want to come, please move yourself into the 'I'm Going' section on upcoming, rather than the 'I'm interested' section.

About a dozen geeks headed out of Brighton for some Karting in early December, and it was fantasitc fun! (photos: set 1, set 2) Everybody said they wanted to do it again, so....
If we get 20 people, apparently we get the track to ourselves and we don't have to stick to the usual event format. Tell your friends, family, pets etc...
The venue is just north of Brighton but you don't have to be Brighton based, just come down for the day!
Cost = £49.50 per person (no refunds)
Races include: practice, heats (3 each?) to determine your grid position in the semi-final, semi-final to determine who's in the final, final. All this takes about 2.5 hours - I'm sure we were racing for longer than that, but that's what the brochure says.
Everyone gets to race in all races except the final, which is only for those who qualify in the semi-final.

Ooh, would love to, but need to confirm I'll still be in the country. There's a chance it might be my last weekend here, so may need to put it aside to say goodbye to my mum!
