The energy G.B. Leighton brings to the stage is suggestive of the signature style of his idol, Bruce Springsteen. "He's the guy who got me going..." "I guess it was about the attitude of having a good time in life...and so that's kind of what I've always tried to have my music be - just different aspects of life." Leighton has played four to five nights a week for the past 10 years and has gone from playing small clubs as a band, to solo support for national/international tours with The BoDeans, Joe Cocker, Boz Scaggs, Chuck Berry and Jonny Lang.
