Gay Men's Domestic Violence Project's 5th Annual Halloween Party and Silent Auction October 30, 2005

GMDVP's 5th Annual Halloween Party will feature great music spun by DJ Mac, delicious drinks, fabulous silent auction/raffle prizes and incredible costumes. Costumes are not required to attend. Those in costume will compete for Best Costume, Best Drag and Best Couple/Group prizes (contests start at 8:15PM). Most importantly, all proceeds will help provide vital services to gay male victims of domestic violence throughout Massachusetts.

GMDVP provides a 24-hour hotline, safe homes for victims fleeing abusive relationships, court accompaniment advocacy for gay male victims and community education. The Boston Globe reported that "Boston more than any other US city has openly grappled with the issue [gay domestic violence]?..due mostly to [GMDVP staff]."
