A National Get Outdoors Day Event & FREE urban outdoors experience on Milwaukee's lakefront with over 60 groups to entertain, demonstrate outdoor activities, and feed your senses. Visit this peninsula park on Lake Michigan for activities for every one and every age. Canoe and Kayak demos with REI; fishing and fly fishing demos - poles provided; bike inspections, helmet fitting, bike demostand, bike rides, and trail info in the Biking Village; rock wall climbing; kite flying; geocaching; docks filled with boats for rides and tour Milwaukee's research and rescue vessels; exhibits in Milwaukee's waters, rain garden energy, health wellness, and more. Great local music. Local food, beverages, DNR State Park passes, fishing licenses and more available for purchase.
