Gathering Waters Festival June 13, 2009

A free urban outdoor experience on Milwaukee’s lakefront with over 40 groups to entertain, demonstrate outdoor activities and feed your senses. There’s activities for every one and every age. Check-out the latest canoes and kayaks with REI; go fishing or try fly fishing – poles provided; stop at the Bike Village with Wheel & Sprocket; go for a boat ride or check-out Milwaukee’s research a rescue vessels; climb a rock wall; fly a kite; try geocaching and interact with exhibits on wellness, Milwaukee’s waters, rain gardens and other green projects. Listen to great local music with One Drum and other previews to Summerfest bands. Local food, beverages, State Park passes (none are needed on the Park), fishing licenses and other items available for purchase.
