Garden of Lights December 26, 2008

Quail Botanical Gardens Garden of Lights has been delighting families for over a decade. It is refreshing to find a noncommercial, relaxed holiday event and many people return year after year, often bringing their out-of-town visitors and family members. There are different activities nightly, such as children's crafts, ornament and wreath making accompanied by strolling musicians. Refreshments such as hot chocolate and hot spiced wine add to the holiday flavor. And of course there are visits with Santa in the Gazebo and marshmallow roasting in the lawn area--two special holiday favorites.
