Saw the 10-22-07 show for the first time and my expectations were surpassed. The show was entertaining from start to end. The host Matt Champagne (hope I said that right)was charasmatic ; though I must admit he looks like a mix between "Where's Waldo" and "The verizon Guy" (could you hear me now). The energy was good and the acts were very creative especially the black nerd act which included a blog and rap-spoof video. all the acts were different which made the show unpredictable. Also the ambiance was cool b/c it looks like an old Irish pub. Where else can you have fun on a Monday?? L.A represents to the fullest. The L.A comedy scene can hold its own against all the other locations that boast great comedy. The only drawback was the food prices ($4.00 for chips and salsa?) Guess that's why its Free to enter. I will be back - hopefully as an entertainer next time.
