Ganjam's Flights of Fantasy - Carnatic Classical Music November 15, 2008

Ganjam’s endeavour to preserve India’s musical legacy with Flights of Fantasy has been held every year for more than a decade in Bangalore. With a promise to heighten your senses by presenting accomplished artists, Flights of Fantasy continues to celebrate music that has enthralled audiences over centuries.

Flights of Fantasy is an eagerly anticipated annual event that celebrates the rich classical music of India. During this festival Ganjam applauds India’s rich musical history and supports exemplary performing artists. Flights of Fantasy is a vision that took shape in 1996 in Bangalore, which has become a cultural event that is made note of in the calendars of music lovers.

This November the three day festival will witness the musical brilliance of Sri. T.M Krishna, the Malladi Brothers and Smt. Aruna Sairam’s Carnatic recitals. The previous years saw the likes of Dr. Balamuralikrishna, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Begum Praween Sultana and Dr. L. Subramanian grace the stage for Ganjam.
