Gamer Symphony Orchestra May 7, 2011

The student-run GSO works to establish video game music as a serious art form and to use that music as a way to bring new and younger audiences to orchestral performances. The GSO is the first collegiate ensemble exclusively devoted to performing orchestral arrangements of video game music and using that music as an educational tool. In addition to performing, GSO members organize yearly video game tournaments that raise money for Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
