A solo exhibition featuring works on paper created over the past decade by San Francisco artist, Enrique Chagoya.

Galería de la Raza, San Francisco —Opening Saturday, July 10, “Ytrebil: Prints and Drawings by Enrique Chagoya,” with an artist reception at 7:30 p.m. Chagoya will talk about his work at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 28 in conversation with Jennifer A. Gonzalez, Associate Professor at UCSC.

YTREBIL/Prints and Drawings by Enrique Chagoya features 38 etchings, codices, serigraphic prints and drawings the San Francisco-based artist has created over the past decade. The exhibition includes works inspired by the format of political satire and editorial cartoons that reference current events, works that poke fun at the politics of the artworld, and multi-panel visual narratives presented in the tradition of the accordian-folded books of the Aztec codices.
