Gala Celebration With Alan Menken October 22, 2010

Alan Menken has won more Academy Awards than any other living individual, including 4 Oscars for Best Score ('The Little Mermaid,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Aladdin' and 'Pocahontas') and 4 Oscars for Best Song. In addition, he has been nominated 18 times. He has won 10 Grammys, 7 Golden Globes, an Olivier award and the Outer Critics Circle award. Menken will treat the audience to a preview of music for his latest musical 'Leap of Faith.' The Gala provides essential financial support to the Valentine Theatre and its programs.
