Gail Levin’s most recent book, Becoming Judy Chicago: A Biography of the Artist chronicles the artist’s journey from obscurity to fame, revealing Chicago as a woman of extraordinary energy and insight. Levin is a noted biographer, art historian, curator, and Professor of Art History, American Studies, and Women’s Studies at the City University of New York.
