Alexander Weimann music director
This summer, Les Voix Baroques performs Giovanni Gabrieli's sonorous compositions for separated choirs, strings, and brass, which greatly influenced the development of western classical music. Now Montréal’s Les Voix Baroques and La Rose des Vents have created a compelling homage to the composer: a Marian Vespers rooted in the polychoral traditions of Venice.
Join us as we commemorate the 400th anniversary of Gabrieli's death, and celebrate his life and work in the best possible way: with a remarkable concert by stunning singers and ten leading early music instrumentalists.
