Fur Trade Exhibit Opening Reception April 15, 2007

Opening reception for a new permanent exhibit at Black Hawk features Tony Gerard doing a first-person interpretation of a French voyageur of the 1760s. The exhibit explores the hunting of furs by Native Americans, trade with Europe, and the goods the Indians received. Located at the Hauberg Indian Museum.
