Funk's Not Dead Presents: Newberry Jam, East Ponce Soul Faction, DJ's Dr Adam Bomb and Notech January 16, 2010

Newberry Jam is an Atlanta funk town original. Imagine old school classic rock heads get into funk and jazz pretty early in life. Then coming into college they get hip to more HipHop and harder Funk Breaks. Well turns out they take influence from all sorts of places and that's just my take on it. Their members play all over town backing the well guarded Tues Apache band, as well as many other bands.

East Ponce Soul Faction hits a nice groove with wickedly whaa'd out guitars, solid organ and keys, bass and a drummer that won't quit! Decatur!!

Last but not least the Naasty Crew is Nice again when DJ Dr Adam Bomb and Notech take the wheels to bring a very special all breaks and bangers take on the Nice N' Naasty kind of vibe.
