Today is the first day of the rest of your life... again. Claire has a rare form of am-nesia that erases her memory when she sleeps, leaving her husband to explain her condition over and over again. But then, a limping, lisping, half-blind, half-deaf man appears and claims to be her brother, there to save her. Claire is hustled off to the home of her mother whose speech is reduced to utter gibberish due to a stroke. Then, add a dimwitted thug with a foul-mouthed hand puppet, Claire's husband, her perpetually stoned son, and a claustrophobic female cop into the mix. Each twist brings Claire closer to discovering her past, while surrounded by alarmingly bizarre characters.
