FSS Recycle Day November 12, 2011

The Foundation For Successful Solutions (FSS) is coordinating an E-Waste day long event with Recycle International to bring residents and businesses in the Los Angeles Mid-City areas an opportunity to recycle their electronic waste. We will take care of your e-waste for free.

E-waste is the common name for electronic products that have reached the end of their useful life. Computers, televisions, copiers, mobile phones, and fax machines are common electronic products that make up one of the fastest growing disposal problems in the State of California. Because of heavy metals and other toxic substances contained in these items, the state has prohibited their disposal in public landfills. Many municipalities charge a fee per item to pick up these items from homes and businesses because they have to be disposed of in a special manner.
