FRUITCAKE! - Presented By Curious Comedy Productions December 17, 2010

Curious Productions is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation and the first non-profit theater in Portland devoted entirely to the art of comedy.

Comedy has played a vital role in human society for centuries – from Aristophanes of Ancient Greece, to Chaucer in the Middle Ages, the Kings’ court jesters of the Elizabethan era, the Hopi Indians’ sacred clowns, to Mark Twain, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Comedy and satire have served – and continue to serve – as a means of exposing our individual and societal vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings with the artistry of humor so we are better able to hear, see and accept our flaws, and, ideally, make improvements in our behavior in the future.

Outreach
Curious Comedy offers classes and shows to kids and seniors through partnerships with other non-profits we love – like Boys & Girls Clubs and Sun Schools.
