Jelly is a casual coworking event, where freelancers, home workers and people running small businesses meet up in order to get out of their normal space, meet some new people and work together in a social environment.

Jellies are a mixture of work, chat, comparing of ideas, passing on tips and help and maybe sometimes collaboration on the birth of a new project.
(Jelly differs from networking in that the aim is not to find new clients, pitch your business or to sell).

There's only room for limited numbers (8 in total). It's free but please let us know if you're coming by booking yourself a place above - booking opens on 11 August. (Please ignore the instructions to print off your ticket - we know who you are!)

This time Jelly people have been invited to contribute a copy of our favourite pictures to a collage being created in one of the meeting rooms, so fire up the printer and find a favourite image to bring along!
The Old Church School can be reached on foot via the path to the left of the Wesley Methodist Church near the fire station.

By car - (don't use sat nav or you could end up quite lost!) drive up Park Road from Christchurch St West and take the narrow lane to the left marked with The Old Church School and Pure Moves signs. There is first come, first served parking at the end of the lane. Walk through the car park and past The Old Church School on the right to the main entrance through the stone porch. Jelly is held in one of the glass-walled meeting rooms either side of the door.

Just bring your laptop etc. and we'll provide a really nice place to work with free wi-fi for the day.

You'll need to bring your own snacks and lunch, but excellent coffee will be available for a very small charge. Please bring your own tea bags and milk if you'd like tea!

You can chat, enjoy the company of interesting new people, exchange ideas - or if you absolutely insist, just get down to some actual work ;-)

So if you’re a home-based freelancer or small business of any kind (not just in IT!), it would be great if you could join us.
