Google Apps is a set of services aimed to help you
communicate and collaborate with your peers and instructors in an easier and more efficient way. This family of technologies includes:
Gmail

An email system that enables you to send and receive emails, text chat, and even video chat while offering reliable security and an incredible amount of storage space (7 GB). With Gmail, the days of you running out of email space or being constrained by small attachment sizes are long gone.
Google Docs

A collaboration system that allows you to share and co-author documents, spreadsheets and presentations online with your classmates
Google Calendar

The best tool to keep yourself organized and share personal and class schedules calendars
Google Sites

Provides you with assistance in creating websites quickly and host them undeterminably for free
