Art and science collide in this year’s Manchester Science Festival with nine days of events designed to highlight and explore the myriad ways that science touches our lives. Expect an intriguing and playful programme with highlights such as Gina Czarnecki’s striking artworks exploring human tissue and a fascinating research-based installation tackling air pollution from fashion designer Helen Storey. All this as well as films on the big screen in a beautiful warehouse setting, immersive science experiences, intriguing evening events, inspiring talks and debates, hands-on workshops and more.
