This event, presented by Dillon International, will feature 2 birth mothers from South Korea who will share their compelling stories. Both women recently placed their children for inter-country adoption through Eastern Social Welfare Society (ESWS), one of 4 placing agencies in Korea who has partnered with Dillon since 1972. In addition to their views, attendees will hear from a panel that includes ESWS staff members, an adoptee, and an adoptive family who is part of a semi-open adoption through Dillon’s Korea program. Throughout the years, the international adoption community has been able to hear from the voices of adoptive families and adoptees; this educational workshop allows much needed dialogue from the birth mother’s perspective.

In an effort to share this opportunity, Dillon International has granted an open invitation for anyone to attend. You can download the registration flyer at http://dfwalliance.org/BirthMotherWorkshopFlyer.pdf. The cost of registration is $15. Please feel free to pass this along to your families or co-workers. Two hours of social worker CEU’s will be available.
