There are a couple of major changes in store for '07. First and foremost: Frolicon is now a 21 and up event. After looking at the registration numbers, less than 10% of our convention population was under 21. We're doing this for a number of reasons. As an adult event, we will face less legal hassle in the event of an unwanted legal presence. Also, as an adult event, we can court more adult sponsors, which would ultimately lead to more resources to provide even better programming. And from a security standpoint, going 21 and up just makes good sense. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our younger attendees.

We frolic in the spring. That's what we do. Frolic. We are Frolicon.

Think flowers, tropical drinks, games and tournaments, zombie beach parties, cargo cult, pirates, Dr. Moreau, chupacabra, cannibalism, virgin sacrifices, live-action candyland, drag queens, art, spanking, sex, massages, pagan rituals, and parties, lots and lots of parties!!
