Frogs and Amphibians: River of Words Children's Art & Poetry Exhibit January 5, 2008

The Crissy Field Center is proud to present an exhibit of dazzling and informative Children’s art and poetry featuring frogs and amphibians from the River of Words Contest. Co-founded by former US Poet Laureate Robert Hass and Berkeley writer Pamela Michael, this international contest has assembled an unparalleled collection of children’s art and poetry. Over fifty works of art and poems‹created by children from Azerbaijan to the Ivory Coast as well as many from California youth will be on display in the Gathering Room. The exhibit will also feature live animals and interpretive information from Tree Frog Treks on the Presidio’s hopping and slithering denizens.
