In celebration of this popular fall holiday, the Firehouse is showing two movies that will offer some Halloween chills, thrills and late night "camp". Head to the Firehouse for an evening of spine-tingling fun on October 20 for a 9:30 p.m. screening of "Ghostbusters", rated PG. The following Saturday, October 27, come back at 10 p.m. for the thriller "Insidious", rated PG13.

On "Ghostbusters" night, October 20, come early at 8:30 p.m. for a fun time and photo op on the Firehouse Parkside Patio with the famous Bay Area Ghostbusters (www.BayAreaGhostbusters.com). There will be a prize contest for those dressed as their favorite Ghostbusters character.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Sigourney Weaver, star in the 1984 cult classic "Ghostbusters". The plot follows "three unemployed parapsychology professors who set up shop in an old firehouse as a unique ghost removal service," according to Internet Movie Database (www.IMDb.com). And of course, the Ghostbusters are eventually "called on to save the Big Apple".

"Insidious" is the chilling story of a family who "looks to prevent evil spirits from trapping their comatose child in a realm called The Further," again according to IMDb. Starring Barbara Hershey, Patrick Wilson, and Rose Byrne, this thriller is rated PG13.
