DIVERSITY UNITES!

This is the theme for Riga Friendship days and pride, which will take part from May 30 to June 1. The march for equality is planned for May 31, starting at 10.00.

Riga Pride / Friendship Days programme:
Friday, 30 May
09:30 – Political debate about diversity and economic competition (Riga Law School);
12:00 – Press conference (Mozaika’s office at Ģertrūdes iela 19/21-5);
20:30 – LGBT film screenings (film theatre K-Suns).

Saturday, 31 May
09:30 – Gathering for March for Equality (11. novembra embankment opposite the Anglican church);
10:00 – March for Equality (11. novembra enbankment);
11:00 – Conclusion of the March for Equality. Speeches by Latvian and foreign NGOs, politicians and others (11. novembra enbankment);
20:00 – Rainbow party (location to be confirmed).

Sunday, 1 June
11:00 – Roundtable discussion with other European LGBT and human rights activists (Mozaika’s office).
