Friends of the Urban Forest Outreach Team November 21, 2009

Friends of the Urban Forest has been commissioned to plant trees along Cesar Chavez as part of a storm water mitigation effort. Urban trees absorb polluted water that would otherwise end up in our Bay.

On Saturday Nov. 21 we are hosting an event for volunteers who want to join our outreach team for this ongoing project. The team will spread the word about this project around the community and enlist other volunteers to help with the planting.
