Friends of RAPP meeting November 4, 2009

Dear RAPP Supporters You may be aware that the big lottery fund that enables us to run the RAPP scheme for free, comes to an end in December 2009, as it was only available for two years. Whilst this means we need to introduce charges for use of the scheme, we are going to have to seek alternative funding, to keep the cost to the users down. This is where we need your help. If a group of supporters set up a 'friends of RAPP' group with its own terms of reference, then they would be able to apply for other sources of funding on behalf of the RAPP scheme (including some that East Hampshire District Council as a statutory body cannot apply for.) We are truly amazed at the support that we have received for the RAPP project and we would like to invite you to a meeting in the council chamber at East Hampshire District Council on Wednesday 4th November 2009 at 6:30pm. At this meeting we will explain further how a "friends of RAPP" group could operate.
