Enjoy an exceptional evening of music, art, and fashion this Friday night at the de Young Museum from 5:00–8:45 PM. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear the talented Pete Yellin and the Great Jazz All-Stars who play music from Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and more. Channel your inner fashionista at the de Young fashion photo booth in honor of the exhibition, "Nan Kempner: American Chic." Our fabulous accessories help you create a unique look, and your pictures will be posted on deyoungmuseum.org. Also, the closing reception for Sonja Hinrichsen’s month-long term as the de Young’s artist-in-residence is from 6:00 to 8:30. In her exhibition, "Observing and Perceiving: Landscape in Present and Past," Hinrichsen uses digital photography and video to examine the architecture of the museum and the details of Golden Gate Park. Kick off your weekend with cocktails, food, music, and art at the de Young.
