Since the 1930's the night before Halloween has been a night of mischief and chaos, of fire and excitement. The music is selected by long time DJ James Shattuck, who is especially known for his energetic musical selections He will embody this sentiment with some new and exciting music as well as some old favorites to get you in the mood for a wonderful All Hallows Eve. As this is a night of mischief, costumes are Most Welcome, but not required.

James Shattuck is our Waltz Macabre DJ for tonight. Many Halloween tunes. Dancing from 9 to 12

Costumes are MOST WELCOME! but not required.

Todi is back to teach intermediate classes from 7 to 9pm.

7pm: Intermediate waltz techniques: With the holidays upon us there is more dancing than ever and with that comes two challenges: Long hours on the dance floor and a wider variety of partners. This one-hour class on the rotary waltz will cover how to dance in a smooth style that will allow you to dance for hours without breaking a sweat, while keeping a smile on your face. The class will also cover how to choose the friendliest---yet most effective---words when coaching all those beginner friends that inevitably get pulled onto the floor for the first time at holiday balls and parties. (This class is especially well-suited to those attending the Dickens Fair.)

8pm: Charleston: 4-count and 8-count Charleston steps will be covered with emphasis on infusing the stylings of the steps with either a peppy voh-dodey-dee-oh-doh or a smooth and swingin' groove. (teaching assistant is Cary Tucker)

Swing Cats Rhythm Revue is back this week for your enjoyment with a Charleston routine performance:Flash back to the roaring 20's with fringed-skirted flappers and dapper young gentlemen. They are looking for enthusiastic, committed, lindy addicts with a passion for performing to join our troupe. For more details, see their website at: http://swingcats.net
