On Saturday, Oct. 15th, the festival will kick off in McClaren Park's newly anointed 'Jerry Garcia Amphitheatre'. With the Mayor's office giving us a huge amount of support from the City of San Francisco, we plan to donate a portion of the proceeds from food and beer sales, event posters and t-shirts and all crowd donations.
With an expected crowd of 2000 people, this will be the largest benefit that San Francisco will be holding for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
